In the wake of severe storms, our skilled artisans in Mexico venture into the forests to recover fallen Mexican ash trees, salvaging as many as possible. Each log is meticulously oyster-cut, arranged, and hand-stained, then combined with pieces of sustainably sourced European ash burl to craft stunning, mosaic-like surfaces. The bases, made from naturally oxidized metal, provide an ideal contrast, culminating in the distinctive, rustic elegance of our exceptional Polanco Collection.

Specifications
Each piece is lovingly handcrafted from oyster-cut fragments of reclaimed Mexican ash and sustainably sourced European ash burl, meticulously arranged to envelop each tabletop and side with gracefully curved edges. The tabletop features exquisite ledge detailing around its perimeter, adding a touch of refined elegance. A hand-applied, reactive finish enhances the wood's natural beauty and tonal depth, while a protective layer of acrylic lacquer ensures lasting durability. The oyster-cut wood may showcase organic characteristics such as cracks, scorch marks, water stains, and natural grain patterns, each contributing to its unique character without compromising quality or functionality.

The plinth base is crafted from steel panels that are naturally weathered, developing a rich patina of dimples and speckles over time, lending a rustic yet sophisticated charm.
